It's beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving...

It's beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving at the Ballard house... My daughters and I created these whimsical turkeys last year using a wonderful fall-themed paper pack. There's a turkey for each family member, plus our dog (because he's a member of the family too!)

Brock likes to poke fun at the length of the turkeys' legs... But I think it adds to the whimsy!

Check back after Turkey Day to see what we have made for Christmas!

Personalized Canvas Totes

My children and I like to give handcrafted gifts for Christmas and other special occasions, whether it be a custom card or tote or even chocolate goodies. I think it means a lot when you take time to craft something for someone. You give not just your time but a little piece of yourself in each creation. So this year, we crafted some personalized canvas totes for their girlfriends and girl cousins. Hopefully, they won't see this post too soon. I actually thought about waiting to post it until the gifts had been given, but then I thought someone might be inspired to craft their own handcrafted gifts this Christmas. So, the totes are being posted! :)

Mummies...

Every year I try to add something to our front door Halloween display. This year, my children and I decided to make a Mummy Pumpkin. After we finished him, we realized that he was quite lonely. So we added a Mummy Gourd to the mix. Now both mummies have a friend on the display.

Happy Halloween!!!
